SLO Cal Careers

Good Afternoon Chamber Partners,

I wanted to share some exciting news with you about a new business service available to our community through SLO Cal Careers (our County’s public workforce system which includes the Workforce Development Board (WDB) and services provided through our non-profit partner, Eckerd, through what was formerly known as the America’s Job Center of CA (AJCC), now operating as the SLOCal Careers center/system).

Attached please find a flyer regarding our new, NO-COST HR HOTLINE – This is a service available to any and all employers in SLO County to obtain HR advice at no cost to them.  We’ve partnered with the California Employers Association (CEA) to provide this great resource to our community.  CEA has access to a variety of HR experts with varying expertise on all HR related matters. 

Please help us spread the word through your newsletters, social media, websites, and any other means you have available to inform our local business community about this resource.  If there is any person, or any particular place you think I should directly connect with to share this information I’d be happy to get your input!
