About Us
THE CLARK CENTER FOR THE PERFORMING ARTS is a hometown hub of great shows for locals and visitors alike. Its mission is to inspire, entertain, and educate through the performing arts. With two professional theaters, welcoming lobby spaces, and convenient on-site parking, the Center hosts touring artists, local productions, conferences, and milestone celebrations for 60 to 600.
Planning a trip? Add a concert to your itinerary for a memorable night out, with great dining and lodging nearby. Live here? Make the Clark Center your year-round destination for shows, community events, and family-friendly experiences.
The Clark Center is more than performances. Lobby exhibitions showcase work by local artists throughout the year. Schooltime matinees share the arts with students. A partnership with the Lucia Mar Unified School District keeps the stages active for youth concerts, dance, and district events. Each year, the Center awards scholarships and grants to help young people learn, perform, and grow.
Each summer, the Center also produces the annual Stone Soup Music Festival and Street Fair at Ramona Garden Park in Grover Beach, offering 2 days of free concerts plus street vendors with international food, crafts and wares.
Everything at the Center is powered by community support. Memberships, sponsorships, and an amazing corps of volunteers keep the lights bright for everyone on the Central Coast.
