PG&E invites you to a public workshop: open to the public
The California Energy Commission, with the Governor’s Office and the California Independent System Operator (Cal-ISO) participating, will host a virtual public workshop Friday, Aug. 12, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. Federal, state, and local elected officials are expected to participate. The public is invited to listen in virtually.
The workshop will provide an update on electric reliability needs in the face of climate change, supply chain delays, and other factors affecting the operational dates of new generation and energy storage projects. The joint agencies will also discuss actions that would be needed to preserve the option of extending the DCPP license to operate the plant, for a limited term, to support the clean energy transition. This is not a voting meeting for the agencies. It is merely informational.
You can watch or listen to the workshop by internet or by phone:
- Attend Workshop via Zoom or login with Zoom and enter the Webinar ID 918 1465 6022 and passcode DCPP and follow all prompts.
