Strawberries through Grover Beach

It’s back, and better than ever! Strawberries through Grover Beach is a fun opportunity to get rewarded for shopping locally! From May 1-18th, the Grover Beach Community Foundation, alongside local partners, will be promoting Strawberries through Grover Beach with social media posts, digital advertisements and yard signs available for placement in front of your business. When people shop at local businesses, they will complete their official STGB passport card, for a chance to win prizes at our celebratory event, being held on Saturday, May 18th (9:00 am to 6:30 pm) at Ramona Garden Park in Grover Beach with music, vendors and more. Print out your own passport cards at the link below or pick one up at Grover Station Grill or Nan's Books & Crystals during their business hours. Participating businesses will give out reward stickers to participants that make a purchase through that Business. STGB Passport Card New events and features coming to the Strawberries through Grover Beach celebration! Pie Baking Contest: CALLING ALL BAKERS! Test your pie baking skills in our first annual Strawberry Pie Baking Contest! The contest is open to all amateur bakers. Pie drop off is between 10am-12pm and judging will start at 12:15pm. Ribbons will be given to the top winners and announced at 2pm. For rules and more information, please click on the registration link! Registration link: Pie Baking Contest Chalk Art: CALLING ALL CHALK ARTISTS! Join us for a berry fun chalk art competition taking place at the annual STGB Celebration on Saturday, May 18th from 10am-4pm. Check-in will be anytime during open draw but all drawing will end at 4pm. Judging begins at 4:15pm. Ribbons will be given to the top winners in each age category (ages 12-17, ages 18+) and artists will be recognized at the event.
